What is Sustainable Seafood?

Sustainable seafood can be defined as seafood that is either wild caught or farmed in ways that ensures the long term viability of species, and protects and improves our environment and the rights and livelihoods of fisheries dependent communities.

Is Your Seafood Sustainable?

We are the first company to market Marine Stewardship Council (MSC) Certified shrimp and Aquaculture Stewardship Council (ASC) certified tilapia in the United States. For many years, we have been working with the Sustainable Fisheries Partnership to work on fisheries to become more sustainable. We have a Fishery Improvement Project in Baja California Sur, Mexico, to help local fishermen use better management and gear for fishing. We also continually work with the Monterey Bay Aquarium to stay ahead of sustainable initiatives.

Why Is Shipping Expensive?

Shipping frozen products requires specialized packaging and expedited shipping methods to ensure food safety and maintain quality. These factors contribute to higher shipping costs.

What if My Order Melted During Transit?

Do not consume or refreeze any Royal Asia Products that have been melted. If your Royal Asia products arrived melted or in a condition you're concerned about, please take a picture of the product and contact our customer service team with your order number to discuss replacement eligibility.
